Salvador Dali - His use of perspective and shadows allow things to appear
to be 'floating.'
By using two point perspective the artist has managed to keep the buildings within the frame
without distorting the height.

A.W.N Pugin - Architect

I have based my Architect 3d Cube on the works of Pugin, not for his building work as such, but for his less known talents of Stain Glass. Inspired by victorian life his work featured greatly on the style gothic revival and many of his works included members of his close family performing religious acts.
His second wife with step daughter and tow daughters.

Anthony Caro

A great leader of 3D modern sculptural art. Caro liked to engage his spectators on a one to one basis. I originally first seen his work at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park - pictured below with my very bad photography skills ...Dream City. I have went on to research more of his work after the lecture i discovered alot of indoor sculptures in which he has created.

Futurism

Futurism was a art movement, made up of artists such a Severini,  Balla Cara and Boccini. The way in which a static object or painting can capture movement, force speed and direction. This is created by the use of lighting in images, and the force and sharpness of the lines in 3D sculptures depicting the direction in which the figure is travelling.
'Unique forms of continuity in space' - Boccini's first sculpture.

Paper Artwork

Peter Callesen and Su Blackwell show amazing works of paper artwork, by use of die and laser cutting. Showing that paper doesn't have to be just two dimensional.

Jamie Reid - Spray Burst 2010

JNP-1.jpg
I think this pretty much sums up 'colour' - certainly wouldn't be able to miss it any ways.

Colour Brief: works of Lucian Freud

The use of dark tones on the figure in the back of the image, compared to the brightness of the blonde on the bed, shows that the woman is the main focus of the image. - Hotel bedroom 1954.
